Low Tide" is inspired by a reference photo taken by a friend—an image that captured a quiet, fleeting moment where the sea had pulled back, revealing reflections, textures, and remnants of time. The wooden posts, worn by years of waves, stand as silent witnesses to the ever-changing tide, while the lone rowboat rests, suspended between movement and stillness. Painting this scene with mixed media allowed me to translate not just the visual elements, but the feeling of standing there, looking out, absorbing the moment. At 70x50 cm, this piece carries the essence of that shared memory—the way the tide leaves behind not just traces of the shore, but echoes of the past.
